Companies such as: Staples, Office Max and UPS all provide shredding at their retail stores. Please refer to the company’s program to learn more about pricing and locations.
ATTENTION
- If you have a shredder at home and want to recycle the paper, the paper should be in a CLEAR, plastic bag with shredded paper ONLY. This is the only time a plastic bag should be placed in a recycling cart or in a SWACO drop-off container.
- Shredded paper should not be placed loose in your recycling bin as it can contaminate the load of recyclables.
